I am going to Ramsgate on Tuesday.. a bookshop I came across last year but have not visited. Sad to hear about Jam Bookshop a bookshop I will not be able to visit. Interesting to know if the total number of bookshops is going up or down as with pubs and libraries, likely to be down..?
Little off topic, but there is a marvellous 2nd hand bookshop in Ramsgate that's run by a guy who also publishes his own books/blog about local history. Love the way he photographs new arrivals rather than listing them... www.michaelsbookshop.com/browsetheboo...
