For me, this movie is notable for having two jump scares that genuinely scared me

The home videos are deeply unsettling to me. Real nightmare stuff. I watch it less often than other films I like as much because they are so effective. The jump scares are extremely well done. I also appreciate anyone who can create an original monster mythology as effective as this.
