No problem. And let me be the latest, among many I'm sure, to encourage you to stop giving the NYT money and instead read their articles for free elsewhere.

Second solution is Firefox browser's Reader View, which similarly often uncovers what's under a paywall. For the Times, if the above doesn't work, I usually find the same NYT story under the same headline in its entirety at dnyuz . com 2/2

The trick, for me at least, is two-fold. First solution is to use an RSS reader -- Inoreader -- because I'm uninterested in an algorithmic news feed, and often I can click Reader View on paywalled stories, reload, and see what's under the paywall. 1/2

You're free to stay subscribed, but do know that I have zero difficulty accessing Times and Post stories via the internet without having ever given either outlet one thin dime. Let me know if you'd like some tips on how you can do the same.

I'm old enough to remember when Mister Lowry (yes, that is a BRAZIL [1985] reference) bragged on Left Right and Center about the issue of National Review coming out that was FULL of essays from conservatives on why DT shouldn't be president. But that was way back in 2016, so ne'er mind, right Rich?

🚨This needs more attention!🚨 (X post from @DocAtCDI)

X Post from @DocAtCFI:

"I live in a "swing state," the only place where any votes seem to count according to people who defend the electoral college.

My daughter is a county clerk; she is in charge of handling elections for a large county in Michigan.

The FBI came in and told her to shut down all her social media, and if she couldn’t, to remove all references to family and change her name.

No one in her office is allowed to open any mail without gloves and a mask. They have armed security when they enter and leave the city building. They receive 2-3 letters a day filled with white powder (so far, flour or powdered sugar).

Please don’t think we’ve got this under control. There is LITERALLY a war going on, quietly, waged by domestic terrorists, to take away your right to have your voice heard.

This woman, who I can’t name because her life is in danger, goes into combat every single day to try to protect your right to have your voice heard!

Don’t let her down."

While right smack in the middle of a disagreement: "it's an echo chamber because everyone agrees."

Ooh it's bit of a game! Love it! If I can't seem to figure it out, d'you mind if I ask the hivemind at /r/scifi for their guesses?
