it's also worth noting that if you don't care about getting a fancy one a rice cooker is *cheap*. You can buy an Aroma for $20-30 new easily.
My ambition for the next yearish (aside from regular income lol) is to devise the most cursed possible mocktail- not bad tasting, but conceptually appalling. Current line of thought: dorito-nacho-cheese-infused seltzer, lime juice, cilantro simple syrup, over ice, in a glass w/ cheeto-dusted rim.
I kept trying to think of a response but yeah, no, we are. In our defense it's like... during the making-the-drink part? Nobody is sitting down at the table, looking at their cup of coffee, and then adding water instead of cream or sugar. But that's not really a defense lol
