“The bifurcation between Eastern Marxism and Western Marxism comes down to a contrast between Marxists who exercise power and Marxists who were in opposition and concentrated increasingly on "critical theory," "deconstruction," and denouncing power and power relations as such."

“Environmentally deleterious and inhumane practices...are hidden away in forests and deserts, where protests will be fought by the imperialists and their sub-contractors in the name of the War On Terror or the War on Drugs or some Kind of war that allows the extraction to take place without threat.”

"Oil's centrality stems from what it does for the imperatives of accumulation: its ability to accelerate and expand capital's turnover, cheapen the costs of production (including labour), and knit together an international market. No other commodity plays this role."

the only way out is by rejecting the system as a whole and working outside of it to dismantle, sabotage, organize, educate, and agitate. if you fight for reforms, do so in a revolutionary way. and finally, don't let the imperial propagandists get to you. you're on the right side

and as is unavoidably clear, despite those who want to keep their heads in the sand—imperialism is a bipartisan project. the military budget only ever increases despite who's in office, military interventions continue, sanctions are bipartisan, coups, assassinations, etc.
