I'd say it's an odd thing to do, I wouldn't get angry at it or anything. It just probably won't result in the author getting much traffic. The unfortunate thing I've learned however is that other online writing sites like scribblehub, royal road, or wattpad aren't great either.

Idk, but I'm probably gonna wait til they launch before I put much of my stuff up there. I'm already on furaffinity though.

The backspace! I wasn't the only one lol, yeah that was really obnoxious. And they are making a new site that's in open beta right now, so hopefully it fixes some stuff.

So furry is an odd site. I find myself wondering if I want to dedicate my time to uploading my stories there in addition to furaffinity.
