Can't find a photo of the raw Cornish blue fin tuna with tomato, mint and coriander. Oops! 😊 Main course was on a blackboard. Choice of bass fillet or whole John Dory. As we had bass the night before at their other restaurant we decided to go with John Dory. Awful photo, absolutely amazing dish.

Scallops with chilli, lemongrass and ginger butter. Might look a little bit like coquilles St Jacques but it definitely didn't taste anything like it. Gorgeous food.
Mackerel with mushroom and lime. Wifey loved it but I thought that the mushroom part could have been more intensely mushroomy without overpowering the fish.

This is a terrible photo of an absolutely amazing dish. It was a whole John Dory but it looks more like a steak in this photo, although you can just about see the tail. Perfectly cooked. Served with Cornish new potatoes, plus a salad with honeycomb tomatoes and two different types of beetroot. One was standard beetroot, the other one looked like pieces of watermelon but actually tasted like beetroot. The liquid at the bottom of the plate was the oregano, garlic and lemon dressing, which was also superb.
