You CANNOT call yourself a leftist or pro-labor class and be pro-AI. These ideas are incompatible. AI is 100% for the capitalist class to harvest the work and skills from people without paying them, thus hoarding even more wealth. Even using it as a hobby feeds the machine.

This! AI isn't for us. It's for the people who make money off it. The main reason to stuff it in everything, no matter how trivial, is to make people accept it
Im inherently against GenAI, but i do believe Ai / Machine learning has its uses, i dont think you will ever be able to automate away jobs en masse though.
People defending ai for me is like hearing people defending bull fighting. "Yeah but I'm not the one fighting the bull. I just watch"/"yeah but I'm not the one prompting. I only share the memes" "It's a noble sport" = "it's a useful tool"
