I've wanted to make an autumnal version of this pattern (and the rest of the collection it's part of) almost since I first made it, but could never quite get the colours to work out right. Finally went back to it recently and I think it's working out this time. 🍂

This project is the first time I've ventured into the realm of cyanotypes and I found it to be a great medium for exploring the mysterious world of the ocean, with the vibrant shades of blue it creates and the process itself, working with the whims of water and sunlight.

Moon jellyfish, Aurelia aurita 🪼 I'm excited to share this finally - for the last few months I've been working on cyanotype prints inspired by the strange and otherworldly nature of jellyfish.
