Sure. People always do that. It’s annoying! GOP is responsible for its lies and authoritarianism. But It seems OK to consider whether Dems had a bad strategy? Dems said they would pass a law protecting, then they didn’t. SCOTUS could waive privacy rights on restrictions—probably not much more.

the strategic failure here is most of the american center left which did not take seriously the conservative effort to capture the federal judiciary until it was a fait accompli.

There were never enough elected Dems to make that happen
