did you ever play the original ys 3? if so, would you say you liked this version or the original more in terms of gameplay? or how bout soundtrack?

Yeah, grew up with the SNES version. They're too different, so it's hard to compare them. Combat is more involved in Felghana, & the music is great, but they're all remixes of the original, so they wouldn't exist without it. For new players, I recommend Felghana, but I have nostalgia for original
