thing is I'm super into the AUR but needed this one program for text-to-speech for a client project and the best option I could find was only available either via flatpak or snapd. no way I'm going with snapd so I settled with flatpak.

the infuriating thing is all the other dependencies I needed were on AUR expect for this ONE text to speech voice thing.

I'm kinda eh on the AUR rn, but I might go for it again if I use Arch, given that Flatpak still needs verification very similarly to the AUR. Meanwhile my friend doesn't bother to check the PKGBUILDS at all. 🥴
