random #ttrpg reminder: there are plenty of reasons (both ethical & design-wise) that it's good to encourage people to leave dnd however, if you require that "leaving dnd" means leaving the entire fantasy genre, then it was never about dnd's actual problems and you need to fix your heart

just off the top of my head, here's a few ttrpgs in the fantasy genre: - pathfinder 2e - break!! - dragonbane - fabula ultima - forgotten lands - worlds without number - ironsworn - sword world 2.5 you could also do fantasy in a generic system like cypher, fate, or cortex some of these are free!
