i recently started a rewatch (my fourth, i think?) with my brother, it is my favorite, Joan Watson is perfect.

It's the one recent adaptation that remembers that Holmes is not a complete asshole.
Between this and my partner going OKAY BUT ELEMENTARY THOUGH...it might finally be time for me to take the plunge
Rewatched last year myself! They had so much space to do things beyond (translating the stories) that I really appreciated it more, and it holds up.
The best thing about ELEMENTARY is Holmes and Watson clearly come to love each other but it's never a romantic will they/won't they. It's just two people who would die for each other if they needed to. Also, Watson has perfect fashion throughout
I will not disagree on the Holmes, but the best Irene Adler was in Zero Effect. This is a hill I will die on.
