Back then they say the sequels sucked. But with lots of time since. Those sequels (not so much The Dream Child) are much better now than then. I always loved the sequels (Not much for The Dream Child, that ones just meh. although the kill scenes were hilarious, best parts)

1 & 3 are my faves (Nancy) the meta of A New Nightmare was ahead of its time. Even some of the “sleep” sequences in Freddy vs. Jason were incredible. My favorite of all the iconic horror series.
