Calling for Biden to drop out, but not Trump, sure sounds like the kind of thing a fundamentally Trumpist newspaper would do. As usual, the Times is confusing only if you buy their branding as centrist or left-leaning.

Yes, and SCOTUS moving with great speed to overturn the CO Supreme Court's disqualification of Trump combined with SCOTUS's refusal to hear the immunity case quickly after Jack Smith asked in December 2023 has a similar lopsidedness.
