For fun/distraction I tried Voice Control on my Mac. I have learned that (a) I regularly mutter under my breath while working, and (b) Voice Control is surprisingly good at understanding those mutterings and inserting them in whatever document I'm editing.
The opposite can also be a problem. Every visit to health services in grad school: Them: You're a woman trying to get a Ph.D in EECS. You must be stressed. Maybe don't work so much. Me: Actually, I love grad school. Them: Then you must be doing drugs. Me: FFS, I came here for birth control.
