Leadership of organizations can be bad, and that applies to unions, too. Being unwilling to criticize a union because you might sound anti-union is why other union leaderships don't criticize the police unions, for example. This is bad, IMO.

As for the boss, not enough is known about the primarily foreign-controlled USMX. For one I am really interested whether their motivations to interrupt the US Supply Chain a month before an enormous election are entirely related to their bottom line.
