Over on the ex-microblogging platform, a literary agent posted details of a query she liked the idea of but gave up after reading a few pages and publicly asked for a better writer to take the idea and pitch it to her instead. So that's a sign of a healthy industry, huh?
What the absolute fuck?
Every time I think "maybe I should query literary agents again" some agent does some ghastly shit like this and I go "you know what? Im unmarketable anyway. I'll just stick with self-publishing a few more years. Maybe I can get a book printed eventually that way once I have more time to format it."
Chuck Tingle is going to appear to this person and show them that love is real (but perhaps too late).
At least she's been fired already!
We’re living in the worst timeline 🫠
Did she not see the first five minutes of the Hbomberguy video about basically this very scenario?
Should I assume they usually do these schenanigans but more discretely? :/
Fucking YIKES.
Thoughtless evil is the worst.
Uhhhh. IANAL, but that sure feels like a major copyright nono.
