I liked what I saw from him this preseason. Just a logjam up front currently. Getting claimed might be the best thing for him.

I'm thinking he must have played wing with Nick, and with being a left-hand shot, seems to make some sense trying them together, even for a short stint? They don't have a lot of LW depth.
