The founding purpose of the Dept. of Justice was to defend against, counter, and subdue state-level entities and governments that were acting to suborn civil rights. This is nothing more than that, and DOJ should be intervening here (and arresting people as needed, including the Governor)
How is it defamation if it was proved true? Any convicted criminal could sue for defamation by those standards. Also proves how little shame these politicians have; intentionally brining more attention to their crimes.
