If anyone can, please help! Florida can't lose anymore of its natural land!

A flyer stating Protect Our Parks with an alligator asking folks to contact the governors office at (850)717-9337 and press 1 to speak to a staff member. Also gives qr codes for links I have attached in the following posts

You can now schedule your updated COVID-19 vaccinations at some pharmacies. CVS: www.cvs.com/scheduling/p...walgreens.com/findcare/sch... If you need to get an appointment before the end of August to use the CDC Bridge Program, some people are having luck at CVS.

In case you missed it (like I did), All #rstats CRAN packages now have a DOI! This is a really useful for easily citing R packages. Also remember to check the citation function to find out if the package authors would like you to cite the package in a different way: citation("mvgam") 🧪🌍

I'm happy that the paper about my class on Historically Excluded and Underrepresented Scientists is now published. When I get back from Alaska, I will put the syllabus and other materials on my website and link to that here on Bluesky. In the meantime, enjoy! onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/...

why yes, I am a stressed PhD student, and yes, I did throw a birthday party for my cats last night

A brown and black long-haired tabby sniffing a birthday cake made from wet food
The same brown and black long-haired tabby sitting on a chair modeling her birthday bandana
A woman laughing as she holds a short-haired orange tabby trying to escape from her polka-dotted birthday collar and matching birthday hat with a ‘1’ for her first birthday
The same short-haired orange tabby peacefully asleep on a chair, having accepted her fate of wearing the birthday collar and hat
