I feel sad for our country but you have to admit “man runs for President because it’s his only way to avoid prison” would be a great premise for an 80s comedy

Make it 90s. “Did you hear about this guy running for president? Get this - he wants the job so he can pardon himself. His campaign slogan is ‘I’m A Crook - NOT!’”

We just need to throw one bitchin’ party to raise enough campaign funds!

I think both most likely candidates make for an utterly dreary, depressive prospect.
