Received the proofs of our forthcoming OUP book today. 🙌 In a nutshell: we argue that migrant remittances compromise rudimentary accountability mechanisms in receiving states, creating a political dependency recipient & sending states, thereby entrenching global structural inequalities.
After a successful evaluation of the past four years, I am now a faculty member with a permanent contract at University College Dublin. 🎉 Delighted and relieved!
