You haven’t spent much time in libraries, have you?
The library babysat me from ages 9-12. I got to learn and improve my knowledge and skill set there from 3pm-9pm every school day. I still love flipping pages in every new magazine and even miss the problem solving with the card catalog. If it just free use of computers/tablets, it won’t be as safe.
Get out of here. Libraries are great. Kids get socialized and read to by librarians, who will teach people how to get reputable sources of information so that they don’t get on social media and compare what they do down to wasted space. As a community resource, they give back more than they take.
