Oooooh what a context!
I did, and it was!
Ah yes, the joy of telling the mechanic, yes, go ahead and overhaul the cooling system in my car. So many aspects of being an adult are crashing into my life this weekend, and I don't like it one bit.
I love Burkeman! His book "Four Thousand Weeks..." and newsletter have been a game-changer for me. I'm trying to soak up "Meditations" as a daily exercise also.
Glad to hear it!
Update: I did see Bram Stokerâs Dracula on a big screen last night! I was discombobulated from family wedding festivities (not hung over or anythingâsocially wiped out) so it was difficult to focus. Also I was paranoid that I wouldnât understand bc I missed the intro sequence. But I enjoyed it!
It seems like itâs got that lush, grand, operatic 90s style. (Is that a thing? Iâm hungry for practical effects and drama)
I have an opportunity to see Bram Stokerâs Dracula (â92 Coppola) on a big screen tonight. I should, right? Never seen it. Iâm totally wiped from the wedding and the extroversion required. In need of major recharging. Not sure if this will help.
I donât even wanna count my to-read pile. (But I kinda do.)
Itâs marvelous! Thanks for writing it.
