My oldest is 9 (middle is 6) and he regularly says things like “bruh” which cannot possibly be the same child who just recently rolled over for the first time?!

My kid still doesn't talk (autism), but his brain regularly figuring out things like "how do I dismantle a hotwheels car" and "if I move this chair to here and get dad to lift me up to get off of it, I can reach the scissors" is both a thing of pride and also abject horror.
