Yes, that's what I meant 💜 I think for me, it must be trauma related. I was the same, and wrote prolifically as a teen. I didn't write for years and years, in retrospect due to trauma. Started up again a few years ago, probably due to reintegrating/facing things in therapy.

well, i have figured out that how i write is related to my autism; i write to process my sensory, emotional & physical experiences. i don’t mean i write poetry about them—most processing is done in the diary i’ve kept since i was a kid. i’ve offloaded my cognition. this helps with trauma work too…
