kernel level anti cheat should be illegal. literally any code running at ring 0 by third party software should be considered spyware and treated with the same severity as a company that tries to wiretap customers’ phones as part of their service. it should literally void the entire contract
it's real fun that no one's bothered to ask why anticheat is allowed to install software remotely, because this surely wouldn't have been the first time

If gamers as a statistical distribution had any self respect, any studio that tried to do kernel level anti cheat would get review bombed out of business
