Portions of Canada have neither nuclear nor much hydro. Alberta, Saskatchewan still rely on mostly natural gas thermal generation. There isnât a national grid, really. Just a series of intertie connected provincial grids.

Speaking as a disabled veteran, also aware Iâm mostly seen as a net drain on national resources. So not surprised at all to hear vets being offered MAID under the guise of âchoicesâ.
What I find terrifying about MAID in Canada is my memory of Friday bed meetings in acute care. The goal, discharge enough so reduced staffing wonât be an issue, even if people needed to come back to the ER on Sat. Now add MAID as an option.
