it turns out that a few clouds can actually make a solar eclipse photo better! this is from 3:09 PM ET, about 15 minutes before the peak of the eclipse here I took a whole bunch of photos with my real camera, but I'm not sure any of them will eclipse (lol) this smartphone shot!
