It’s just that, personally, I think the EU’s political class of 2000-2020 is taking “Ignoring problems and hoping they’ll go away” to an art form that can be argued is criminally negligent (b.c. it costs lives). And they are doing so out of convenience, not for power hunger or curruption reasons.
