Let's remember this whenever people try to tell you "they're all the same". Other big things: - Legalised onshore wind - Re-funded UNRWA - Changed planning framework to build more homes that people desperately need.
Mmm yeah I agree, but honestly I think this is a good outcome. If we had expelled her, we'd catch loads of bile and hatred from online transphobes. I'm not saying that means we shouldn't have done it! Her kicking herself out of our party is (a) dumb of her, (b) good for Labour and (c) good riddance.
Yes this sounds very sensible. I, similarly, thought we were in for a decade of Boris Johnson (God what a thought). I was at least open to the possibility "hey, anything can happen between now and the election" but I thought that was the most likely outcome. So now I'm not certain about anything.
That or Reform. 😨 Voteshare-wise, anyway. I'll comfort myself with the fact that Faragist parties have traditionally been crap at local organising and converting voteshare into winnable seats in general elections.
Harsh but fair.
Oh my god. I wasn't certain it was possible, but somehow the Conservative Party does keep getting worse, more detached from reality and more insane. Who the hell is thinking "You know what's really wrong with this country? Maternity leave!"?
Hahaha well-played. The difficult bit is that it's sometimes quite hard to distinguish satirical statements from what the hype guys say unironically!
I don't actually even know who owns BlueSky. Whoever it is, they aren't trying to force everyone to notice them and put themselves at the centre of everything – like some people.
I think a LOT less, yes. Most people seem friendly and I can go on social media without getting bombarded with fascism. Which is a big improvement.
