I missed the auroras again this time, but I just spent a few minutes outside looking at the sky. To the east, almost exactly, you can clearly see Jupiter, brightly—though not literally stellar, the brightest and clearest.

Nearby, Orion, a little above the horizon; and Betelgeuse, flickering red. And then above, Taurus and Auriga; I had never traced Taurus before.
