RT Sander @sandersays.bsky.social#NMRchat, does anybody know if the 'ball-seal' VT connection is a Bruker-specific part? We would like to obtain an extra one, the mating part to this probe, with a hosebarb connection. Are they commercially available?

Academia (and especially editors) HATE simplicity. The more expensive the method is, the more probable it will land in a high IF journal. That is because it will look "fancier". Who cares if no one can and will use that research? As long as it's fancy...

Put the last weld on a sculpture of the RAS protein. I still need to do some more work to finish it and it needs a stand. First time I used this style to represent a protein and it was a challenge to do the bends. But I think it turned out well and will try the style on other proteins.
