#wildswimming My summer hobby is swimming in as many bodies of water as I can. I am up to about 20 for this year. Started in the Mediterranean near Begur on the Costa Brava in Spain, followed by the sea off the inner Hebrides, finishing in Ontario. The highlight is always my beloved Lake of Bays.

My parents used to go dancing there after the war. I loved it when they described the places where they used to dance.

My summer hobby is swimming in as many bodies of water as I can. This is the Mississippi near Ottawa (the other Mississippi) on a beautiful September day. I think I’m up to 19 or 20.

I’d forgotten all about Orlando. Such great books.
