Reminder. We are losing our critical Dunedin hospital rebuild, a long overdue replacement ferry, free prescriptions, many many jobs leading to collapsed businesses and and and TO GIVE TAX CUTS TO THE WEALTHY. #nzpol

This would only be good news on the back of another announcement that district hospitals across the region are going to be greatly expanded and resourced.... As it stands, it's just another Klown f*ck-up...

This is a massive political miscalculation by National. It's not only the people of Dunedin they will piss off with this, but all the people of Otago and Southland. Dunedin may be red enough to be considered lost to them anyway, but the rest of Otago & Southland sure as hell ain't!

So basically we are not going to get what was originally promised. Its getting scaled back. At the cost of the regions overall health infrastructure. They would rather give tax cuts to landlords.

You have to wonder how the rest of us can create even the modest amounts of wealth we need to live on without critical infrastructure, health and jobs.

The ferry fiasco is going to be interesting. For the first time I'm actually happy NZF is in this CoC. I know it's going to be costly, but it could bring this govt down & the end of Willis's career and I'm all in for it. Get your 🍿 ready!

Does the labour party have a running total of the money already spent on these abandoned projects? From planning to construction - taxpayer money the govt has simply magicked away - the govt never campaigned on this abandonment of crucial infrastructure and future-proofing.

I have never known a National government as destructive as this one. And I'm old.
