I just can't stop thinking about the amazing people who were commemorated at the Lampard Inquiry into mental health deaths earlier this week, and also grieving the fact that we so rarely hear about the struggles and triumphs of people with serious mental illness until after they killed themselves

Witnessed unbelievable courage from bereaved families this morning at the commemorative hearings of the Lampard Inquiry in Essex—the first public inquiry specifically examining mental health deaths. They spoke beautifully about their resilient, vibrant, caring, determined, loved ones
in the same way that pregnant women get a little badge they can use on the tube, I think that if you're feeling especially sad you should be able to own some sort of pin badge that gains you access to people's babies and dogs, for morale boosting purposes

Thanks Sue, I had the privilege to get help privately which my parents paid for. Had I not had that financial help I don't know what I would have done. Completely agree on drug use—addiction is still so stigmatised and people suffering are excluded. We need complete reform of MH care
