It's only the 19th day of 2024, and we have already had two colds and now a stomach bug. When do the child plagues stop?! WHEN!!!

Currently marking a student essay that is so brilliant I wish that Turnitin would just let me put 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 and 🙌🏻 emojis on every page.

I've taken leave from the day job this week so I can write write write, but of course we have been struck down with yet another toddler plague. HOW DO PARENTS EVER HIT ANY DEADLINES?!

I have a looming deadline and some teaching prep to tackle today, which means that I also now have a very clean kitchen. #procrastination
