Because mass shootings can be prevented. And instead of passing the sort of gun laws that would keep us safe, our state passes laws that make it easier to own a gun and carry them wherever you want. Our state made it way too easy for this to happen.

Yesterday, I debated going to the parade. To be a part of it all. I joked with my colleagues that I probably wouldn't because my youngest kiddo is a bit of a runner and I don't want to lose him. Today, I'm so grateful I chose to stay home. It shouldn't be like this.
