Now I’m worried that since I talked about Edelman I’m going to get grilled on Lacan during the defence, so I’m rereading Edelman and am reminded of how much I fucking hate this guy. I don’t know if I’ve ever read any theory that makes me as mad as Edelman does.

Four hours is not enough to talk about nine texts. I was pretty crunched for time at the end. I talked about Spivak, Leanne Simpson, Boyarin, Butler, Derrida, Edelman, Muñoz, Genet, and Kushner. That's a lot for a few hours.
