I've mentioned before that back in the days of 24, a friend played in a 3e D&D campaign where an extended escape sequence was played out over weeks. To the DM's absolute credit, 4 of 5 players still probably recount it as their TTRPG highlight. So tense! My friend, however, was a low level Wizard.

I guess, at least 3e had a skill system. And wizards had INT, so they had an ok number of skill point And then I remember their list of class skills...
