That's a normal reaction to a bee sting, especially on the face. You can mitigate the swelling by removing the stinger asap (the stinger actually continues to pump venom, even after it's broken off the bee!) But seeking out getting stung for "therapeutic" reasons is dumb AF. Bee venom can help w/...

severe arthritis and some autoimmune conditions (at least some ppl say it can) but it has to be applied on the area locally - as in you have to be stung on the hands if you're trying to treat arthritis there. Just getting stung somewhere on your body doesn't work. She's a dumbass.
