we will have to see how these internals function in-use - if they're less than ideal, I will sculpt and print a more traditional one! I'm unsure if people would prefer a more organic looking one that much more than the little airplane interior, so Let me know your thoughts if you have an opinion!

you can see in the closeups though how good they're looking! I'm super pleased with them overall. I do still think the minipen will be finished first, though the fullsize shouldn't be much further behind!

for those curious: His internal entrance will be ~0.5 inch in diameter, compared to the fullsize ~0.8 inch. It's kind of shocking how much smaller he is for that little of a size down in entrance diameter!

My review is that the flavour was underwhelming, but the texture was light and fluffy. The particular sugar they're coated with reminds me in taste slightly of Strawberry Clouds, which I am fond of. Felt bad putting such a cute little guy in my mouth though lol.

Filing him down toward the end sucked so bad 'cause the finer flat file would reverberate the thin resin walls and create this awful sound, it was a sensory nightmare. glad it's finally over with!

Given how much the material cost is going to be, the full-size Eglok will definitely be quite a pricey boy..... 😔

Just gotta get his ass end printed now! Went a little overboard with the supports but I'd rather be safe than sorry with the angles he's got there.

His internal rod is coming along really nicely too! Still needs some post processing to really get out the print lines though.

(molding and printing my current models is first priority of course! these were just some quick ideas.)

I keep them covered with plastic wrap *and* keep them upside down and in a crate, but they still end up with specs sometimes - and it only takes one to ruin a pour... I'll look into maybe dusting the room a bit better, as unfortunately the airflow being on is non-negotiable in my living space rn. ☺️
