Instantly recognizable by huge horns, a tall sail, & a striking coloration of purple/green, this species may be found where the jungle meets the shore. Very light, they fly over the pristine sand in search of food. It shys away from other beasts, preferring it’s own kin.

Mountain Griffs are one of the few birds to achieve respectable sizes- with a 10 ft wingspan it soars over cold slopes in search of carrion. Old sages are known to use this bird in falconry. Watching for dragons & reporting back sightings with rehearsed vocalizations.
