yeah, but this one really did burn me, like I touched a hot stove. Nothing too bad. The PCs were kind of better because the crappy plastic bodies didn't do this.

They are ok if you use them on a desk, but if you obstruct the bottom (like with a blanket), it gets ugly. I used one for years, and I never think about that with an M1 Air, for example.

no lol, that thing was rad in every way except that it would actually burn you.

It's ridiculous, too. The town I grew up in had National Forests to the west and north, and farm land to south and east. We just did normal Halloween. You would invite the kids that lived in the country to go with you. No one's keeping score. But razor blades in the Kit Kats was a rumor.

It's strange. I had someone drop into my mentions and plug their (incomplete, basic) programming language, and I am not a popular user. The *one* public account I have, and I immediately got that stuff.

had to go check on Cherry Tavern and International Bar. Disappointingly, it seems the latter now has a floor, instead of dirt and straw.

Reykjavik Roasters is actually decent coffee. Most of the other places aren't. Good hangout spot too.

idk if you're an emacs user, but the thing comes with FriendlyWRT as the OS, and it's fine. There is no emacs, but it has zile, which is good enough given the time spent in there.

I'd never seen that article before. Too harsh. I know a lot of artists that made real money on that idea. I think it was net positive, although there are definitely grifters. Not too different from art dealers at any time in history.
