Day 2! I know this one seems a little obvious to some, but I've personally seen plenty of artists become unfocused and lose that sense of why and who they are creating work for. They get so caught up in what others want that they misplace themselves and end up making art they feel nothing about.

Some people even give up their art journeys entirely because they feel too disconnected from themselves and their own voice. They stop seeing themselves in the work they are creating and it becomes a chore rather than a joy or form of self expression.

Sit down
and have
a nice conversation with yourself.

Get to know yourself a little better.

Sometimes you just need to sit back and sort through your own thoughts.

Everyone does. It's healthy and largely recommended by leading experts and nine out of ten dentists.

So what does this have to do with art you ask?
Well, how can you make art that expresses who you are and your personal story without knowing what that story is? Even if you're drawing fanart from your favorite shows, how can you add your own personal touches to it without knowing who that person is?

I'm sure everyone here has worked through these thoughts before.

But sometimes we get a bit lost
and forget to keep asking.
