No 26! This might actually be one of the most important ones on this list. Eventually every artist will reach a point where this is the hurdle they'll have to jump if they want to take their work further.

From a series of tips for artists and creators entitled "Ways to become a better artist that don't involve actually making art."

This image includes the full set of panels for one tip. The panels will also be posted individually in this thread and will include a full transcription for every panel. The panels themselves consist mostly of text with some images.

From a series of tips for artists and creators.

The text at the top reads "Ways to become a better artist that don't involve actually making art." Below that is a subtitle that reads "Or how to supplement your 10,000 hours."

This is the header panel for tip number 26, entitled "Don't wait for the mood." The quote below the title text reads "Amateurs look for inspiration, the rest of us just get up and go to work. Chuck Close."

Below this text is an illustration of a skunk. They are using a pair of scissors to cut shapes from a piece of paper. Around them are an assortment of pieces, papers, adhesives, and glitter, along with a mug and a vase full of flowers - they are making a paper-craft bouquet.

Pursuing your goals... requires pursuit. Sitting and waiting for the mood to strike means wasted time you could (and arguably should) be practicing. Making art is a skill, one you should be able to rely on, just like cooking or doing math. The fundamentals always remain in your bag, ready to go.

As it turns out,
you can,

in fact,

make art
when you aren't
in the mood.

The text is laid out on the page in a way that emphasizes the weighted line breaks.
Actually, its of the utmost importance for any working artist to learn how to make art when they just aren't feeling it.
You're not alone in the struggle, either - you can find many professionals in creative fields who discuss their own methods for getting the work done when they're not feeling inspired. The most common suggestion is to simply start a doodle or mess around with concepts, just throw down some words or lines, and then, before you know it, you'll find your groove and feel like working on your bigger projects.
