Gen X here. We, or at least the people and media I was around, thought we'd be the change, too, so it's wild to watch some of them become major conservative players. I have far more faith in Millennials and Gen Z, but it's surprising what people become. Stay vigilant.

For example, I have cousins that used to be about helping others and collective good but now it's "I don't have to worry about my breast cancer because I'll be raptured soon. Trump was a gift from God. So sorry you'll be in hell." And this is in Canada. People can be unpredictable. History circles.
