I haven't used my Dutch oven yet, but that's my next experiment. I've been trying one no-knead recipe officially modified for a loaf pan because I prefer the shape, but I'm giving up until I get the basic right.

With this shape, you do get a couple of small ends (if you're slicing it vertically) but after that they're generally long and tall enough to do a sandwich, if that's what you're after. I don't mind the smaller end slices as I... tend to put butter on while they're still warm and snack!
